Alaska #2 Day 23

The Kenai was flooded.  The snow river ice dam had given way, and the river was up by about a meter.

Headed down to Homer to fish the Anchor.  But the Anchor was flooded.

Headed into Homer for food, and then back up the peninsular to Swanston river.  This was a horrible ditch with nothing to make fishing attractive - though the people fishing there were catching fish.

Headed to Eagle Rock on the Kenai, but didnt fish there, as not sure if I could wade out to the island, and didnt want to risk it in floods.  A lot of driving and no fishing!

The weather was clear and you could see the volcanos on the other side of Cook Inlet.
