Trip with Cameron, Day #6

 Back to the marshes at Little Pine.

It was blowing a gale.  The wind was cold.  We both froze.  For lunch we sat in Camerons Emergency Shelter Tent.  

I got 1 small fish.  Cameron had a fish rise to his duck fly - but missed the strike.

Came home via Bothwell, which was a far easier drive than going up via Bronte!

Trip with Cameron, Day #5

 Back to Little Pine Lagoon.  A perfect day with virtually no wind!  The walk around the lake doesnt get any easier - its 3k through tussocks, shrubs, marsh, etc.

I started fishing an Olive Bugger in the old creek bed.  I had 1 swirl, 1 hit, 3 break offs on the strike, and landed 1 fish (2.5lb).  Cameron got a fish on a grasshopper -- 3.5lb

Trip with Cameron, Day #4

 We went back to Little Pine.  Cameron paddled up to the marsh.  I walked around the lake, which is hard!  There was a fairly stiff breeze.  Cameron got a a fair bit of activity, and landed 2.  I couldnt locate fish -- I didnt see any all day!  I am sure I walked right past many fish -- they are hard to spot!

Trip with Cameron, Day #3

 We decided to try Little Pine.  I fished the untouchables shore.  There was the occasional swirl,  And I got a follow on an Olive Bugger.  Cameron used his kayak to paddle around the shore to the inflow stream, and found lots of working fish -- he landed 2.
