Start of season skunking -- there is a pattern here :(

Went to meadowbank.  The mud and soft bottom made wading a disaster.  Cameron was far better off in his kayak.  But effert for fish was not good.  I had no response - -fish were deep.  Cameron got a couple of touches out in the river channel.

Sometimes it looks great, but

Everything was perfect.  Except for the fish.  I didn't have a thermometer, but I think the water was too hot.
