Took Jim to the Tyenna. The river was high - there had been a LOT of rain over the last few days, but luckily most had missed the Tyenna - but there was still enough to make fishing marginal.
The night before it looked bad, and I suggested that we not go. I woke at 5:00 am, and the river gauge had fallen, so I decided to go, and left Jim a message to call me / meet me on the river. Jim called right as I got to the river, and asked about conditions. I thought the river looked OK, and told him to come up.
As he was driving up I sent him some pictures for encouragement:
Unfortunately, the gauge had lied, and the river was rising. In the time it took Jim to get to the river, it rose a good 2-3 cm. The fishing got harder. But Jim still managed a few:
Final score was 3 for Jim and 13 for me.
