An Attempt at Bronte

 With Cass.  Several swirls.  One hit for Cass.  But no fish.  But a fantastic day.

Trip with Cameron, Day #2

 We tried the southern end of Bronte.  Cameron had no luck.  I lost a fish on the weedy shore near the campground.

Trip with Cameron, Day #1

 We headed up to Bronte.  The lake was really high, with water rushing in from the canal.  Apparently the had been a ton of rain over the last week.

We fished the top end, near the inflow.  Cameron hooked and lost 1 fish.  Then we retired to our very nice cabin!

A great camping trip with Cameron.  But the fishing was crap.  Cameron got 2.  I didn't get a touch in 2 days.

Rowed all over the lake in the pontoon boat.  I think the fishing is just as good from shore!

Steve Visit - Day 1 - Bronte

Camped at Bronte overnight, and then fished to top end.  Caught 3.  The first was on a caddis, but then Steve started catching them on grasshoppers with a slow retrieve -- I caught 2 using that technique.

Went to Bronte.  Lost a nice one.  Landed a small one.  A good take was missed as well.

The heavens openned, and we called it quits early!

A couple of other fishermen.  The one on his right just caught his first trout on the fly
